Dashavatar ( Incarnation of Vishnu )

Vishnu, Brahma and Mahesh are considered to be the three main deities of Hinduism. Vishnu represents goodness, protection, Brahma represents creation, and Shiva i.e. Mahesh represents darkness, destruction. 


 Whenever there was some problem on earth, God incarnated something for human. Vishnu Dashavatar means dash (ten) avatar means (avatar)      

  1.  Matsya - Fish
  2. Kurma - Turtle
  3. Varah - bore
  4. Narasimha - Half man, half lion
  5. Vamana - Dwarf
  6. Parashurama - Ram bearing ax
  7. Ram - Ram with bow and arrow
  8. Krishna - God of Bhagavad Gita
  9. Buddha - Teacher
  10. Kalki - "One to come"
Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, is the consort of Lord Vishnu in her avatar. And 'Sheshnag' is also an incarnation of Vishnu's posture with Vishnu. Like in the Ramayana and Mahabharata, he incarnated as the brother of Lord Vishnu. Such as Lakshmana in the Ramayana series and Balarama in the 2 epic poems in the Mahabharata.
